ABOUT US

Beth Am Messiah is a Messianic Congregation of Jewish and Gentile people who share a common belief that Yeshua Ben Yoseph, Ben David (Jesus, Son of Joseph, Son of David), is the Messiah foretold in the prophecies of the Tenach (The Bible). 

Because Messiah Yeshua brings with Him all the blessings of the Brit Hadasha (The New Covenant), Jewish and Gentile people can come together in His Shalom (Peace) and worship one God: the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. We are happy to present ourselves as just such a family. 

STATEMENT OF FAITH

WE BELIEVE IN THE ONE AND ONLY LIVING GOD, THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB, THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH (GEN 1:1; DEUT. 6:4; ISA. 42:5).  WE BELIEVE THE ONE TRUE GOD EXISTS ETERNALLY IN THREE PERSONS—FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT—AND THAT THESE, BEING ONE GOD, ARE EQUAL IN DEITY, POWER, AND GLORY. HE IS THE GOD OF ISRAEL.

We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Son of God and Israel's promised Messiah and the Redeemer of the entire human race. According the prophet Isaiah, Yeshua gave His life as an atoning sacrifice for our sins (Isaiah 7:14, 9:6-7; 53:4-10; Psalm 16:9-11).  We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Yeshua Ha Mashiach alone (John 14:6). There is nothing we can do on our own merit to receive the gift of salvation. (Isaiah 64:6, John 6:29, John 14:6).

We believe the Torah is the inspired Word of God, inerrant as originally given; along with the Prophets (Nevi'im) and the Writings (Katuvim), and the Brit Hadasha (New Covenant). They form the complete revelation of God's will for the redemption of mankind. (Numbers 12:6-8; Isaiah 8:20; 2 Timothy 3:16,17)
